NY SPARTA — Sparta Town Board approves 250 anniversary flags for town's anniversary celebration. The board voted unanimously April 14 to authorize Supervisor Mark Schuster to purchase the commemorative United States flags and banners for the town. Members present and voting yes included Deputy Supervisor Deb Halpenny and Council Members Bill Smith, Mary Ellyn Calabrese, and Aaron Schreiner.
The board approved bills totaling $62,504.02 for general, highway, and street light costs.
