Town Board backs Conesus Lake watershed revitalization initiative

NY SPARTA — Sparta Town Board unanimously supports Conesus Lake watershed revitalization program grant application. The board voted to approve a letter of support for Livingston County's application to the New York State Department of State Local Waterfront Revitalization Program, which would fund a local law update implementing land use recommendations from the Conesus Lake Watershed Management Plan. Supervisor Mark Schuster presided with Council Members Bill Smith, Mary Ellyn Calabrese, and Aaron Schreiner present; Deputy Supervisor Deb Halpenny was absent.

The board also approved $67,270 in audited bills across general, highway, and street light accounts and authorized routine budget transfers.
